Welcome to UNMD.

These Terms of Service explain the rules that apply when you visit or purchase from unmd.shop. By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or place an order.

1. About UNMD

UNMD is an independent clothing brand focused on contemporary clothing and streetwear.

We operate our brand, product designs, website, customer service, and sales directly. However, we do not manufacture and warehouse every product ourselves.

To be transparent about how our products are made and fulfilled, we work with third party manufacturing and fulfillment partners.

For certain products, Tapstitch, Inc. ("Tapstitch") acts as our manufacturing and fulfillment partner. Depending on the product and order, Tapstitch may manufacture the item, apply our designs, prepare the package, and ship the order directly to you on our behalf.

This means that when you purchase from UNMD, you are purchasing a UNMD product and your relationship is with UNMD, even though some manufacturing, packaging, and fulfillment operations may be performed by our third party partners.

We believe in being straightforward about this rather than pretending that every item is produced and shipped directly from an UNMD owned facility.

2. Using Our Website

By using unmd.shop, you agree to:

  1. Provide accurate information when placing an order.

  2. Use the website only for lawful purposes.

  3. Not attempt to interfere with or damage the website.

  4. Not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially use UNMD's designs, photography, branding, written content, or other intellectual property without permission.

  5. Not use our website to commit fraud or conduct any unlawful activity.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders that appear to involve fraud, abuse, unauthorized activity, or other violations of these terms.

3. Products

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, measurements, colors, images, and other information on our website are accurate.

However, product colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen, device, lighting, or photography conditions.

Measurements may also have minor variations because garments are manufactured products rather than individually tailored pieces.

Some UNMD products are made only after an order is placed. This allows us to avoid maintaining large amounts of finished inventory.

Because of this production model, some orders may take longer to process than products purchased from a traditional retailer with pre-existing inventory.

4. How Our Products Are Made and Fulfilled

UNMD uses a third party print on demand and manufacturing model for certain products.

When you place an order, the order may be transmitted to our fulfillment partner, including Tapstitch, for production.

The fulfillment partner may:

  • manufacture or prepare the garment

  • apply UNMD artwork or designs where applicable

  • perform quality and production processes

  • package the product

  • provide shipment information

  • hand the package to a third party delivery carrier

The specific facility used to manufacture or fulfill an order may vary depending on the product, destination, availability, and operational requirements.

Using third party fulfillment does not change the fact that you are purchasing from UNMD.

5. Orders

When you place an order through unmd.shop, you are submitting a request to purchase the products in your cart.

After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation by email.

An order confirmation means that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has already been manufactured or shipped.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order in circumstances including:

  • the product becoming unavailable

  • an obvious pricing or product information error

  • suspected payment fraud

  • incorrect or incomplete shipping information

  • suspected misuse of our website

  • circumstances outside our reasonable control

If we cancel an order after you have paid for it, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled portion of the order.

6. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on unmd.shop are shown in the currency indicated on the website at the time of purchase.

Prices may change at any time. A price change will not affect an order that has already been successfully placed, except where required to correct an obvious pricing error.

You are responsible for providing valid payment information and ensuring that the information provided during checkout is accurate.

Payment is processed through the payment provider offered at checkout.

We do not store complete payment card information on our own servers unless expressly stated otherwise.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are manufactured and fulfilled after purchase where applicable.

Because our products may be produced by third party fulfillment partners and shipped through third party carriers, shipping times can vary.

Any estimated processing or delivery times shown on our website are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery may be affected by factors outside our reasonable control, including:

  • carrier delays

  • customs processing

  • weather

  • public holidays

  • incorrect addresses

  • international border procedures

  • production delays

  • other events outside our control

Once an order has been handed to the carrier, tracking information may be provided where available.

If your package appears to be delayed or lost, please contact us and we will work with the relevant fulfillment or shipping partner to investigate the issue.

8. International Orders, Customs and Taxes

UNMD may accept orders from customers in different countries.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, local taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are generally the responsibility of the customer.

UNMD cannot guarantee that customs authorities will not inspect, delay, or charge an order.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information and complying with applicable import requirements in their country.

9. Returns and Exchanges

Because many UNMD products are made specifically after an order is placed, we do not treat unwanted or incorrectly selected items in the same way as standard stocked retail inventory.

Our return and refund eligibility is therefore governed by our Returns & Refund Policy.

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, incorrectly produced, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photographs of the issue.

Where the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing or fulfillment error, we may offer a replacement, refund, or another appropriate solution.

We may not be able to accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as:

  • choosing the wrong size

  • changing your mind

  • ordering the wrong color

  • ordering the wrong product

  • normal variations in color or fabric

  • normal wear and tear

  • damage caused after delivery

Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country.

10. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or contains the wrong item, please contact us with:

  • your order number

  • photographs of the product

  • photographs of the packaging where relevant

  • a short description of the problem

We may request additional information to investigate the issue with our fulfillment partner or shipping carrier.

Please do not send an item back without contacting us first. We will provide return instructions where a return is required.

11. Order Changes and Cancellations

Because some products enter production shortly after an order is placed, we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled after production has started.

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible after placing it.

If production has not started, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

Once production or fulfillment has started, cancellation may no longer be possible.

12. UNMD Designs and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the UNMD name, logo, product designs, graphics, photographs, videos, website content, written material, and other original material published by UNMD are owned by or licensed to UNMD.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit our intellectual property without our written permission.

Purchasing a UNMD product does not give you ownership of the artwork, design, branding, or other intellectual property associated with that product.

13. Customer Content

If you voluntarily send us photographs, reviews, comments, videos, or other content relating to UNMD, you retain ownership of your content.

By submitting content to us, you give UNMD permission to use, reproduce, display, and share that content for legitimate brand, marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law.

If you do not want us to use submitted content for promotional purposes, please tell us when submitting it.

14. Third Party Services

UNMD uses third party services to operate parts of our business.

These may include payment processors, ecommerce platforms, manufacturing and fulfillment partners, shipping carriers, analytics providers, email providers, and other service providers.

These third parties may process information necessary to provide their services.

Where appropriate, their own terms and privacy policies may also apply.

Our use of a third party service does not mean that UNMD has control over that service or guarantees its uninterrupted availability.

15. Availability of Products

We cannot guarantee that every product, size, color, or variant shown on our website will always be available.

Products may be discontinued, temporarily unavailable, replaced, or modified.

If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order and we cannot fulfill it, we may cancel the affected item and provide an appropriate refund.

16. Product Information and Expectations

We aim to represent our products honestly.

However, photography, lighting, screens, editing, manufacturing processes, fabric batches, and production conditions can result in small differences between product images and the physical item you receive.

Such minor differences do not necessarily mean that the product is defective.

We do not guarantee that every product will look exactly identical to a product photograph.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UNMD will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from the use of our website or products.

We are also not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including shipping carriers, customs authorities, manufacturing partners, payment providers, internet outages, natural disasters, government actions, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful or would interfere with mandatory consumer protections.

18. Events Outside Our Control

We will not be considered responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations when the failure or delay results from circumstances that are reasonably outside our control.

This may include natural disasters, wars, strikes, government restrictions, major carrier disruptions, cyber incidents, internet failures, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, or other similar events.

We will make reasonable efforts to resume normal operations when possible.

19. Privacy

Your use of unmd.shop is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it may be used, and when it may be shared with service providers involved in operating our business.

Because UNMD uses third party manufacturing, fulfillment, payment, shipping, and ecommerce services, certain information may need to be shared with those providers to process and deliver your order.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the website after updated terms are published means that you accept the updated terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

21. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to UNMD, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent you from exercising rights that cannot legally be waived under the laws applicable to you.

23. Our Approach to Transparency

UNMD is an independent clothing brand. We design, curate, market, and sell our products, while using specialized third party manufacturing and fulfillment partners for certain products.

For applicable products, Tapstitch may manufacture and fulfill your order on UNMD's behalf.

We do not consider this something that needs to be hidden. It allows us to produce products on demand, avoid unnecessary inventory, and offer products to customers without operating our own large scale manufacturing facility.

Our goal is to focus on creating and curating the products, while working with established production and fulfillment partners to get those products to you.

By purchasing from UNMD, you acknowledge and understand that third party partners may be involved in manufacturing, packaging, and shipping your order.

These Terms do not change your statutory consumer rights.
